Thanks to our clients, we are able to donate 10% of all profits to charity.
Letter from Jessica Loughlin, Founder of Henry Walter Services, Inc.
When I started my own company, I knew I wanted to give back to the communities and causes that meant the most to me. I have always been drawn to companies that donate to charity as it communicates a level of integrity and kindness I have always found admirable. It allows clients and customers to know they are supporting a business with strong values.
As the wife of a fireman and a deep lover of elephants, I chose to partner with the Johnny Mac Foundation and The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. For every dollar of profit I earn from working with my clients, 5% goes to each of these incredible organizations. This is my way of turning my skills and expertise into a positive mark on the world for future generations.
Johnny Mac Foundation
This Foundation assists fireman and their families by using donations to help with unexpected financial burdens. The Foundation also prides itself on producing resources to help fire service personnel deal with the loss of one of their own. This amazing Foundation has donated toys to fallen firemen’s children at Christmas and supported firemen who lost their homes in Hurricane Harvey. The Foundation reflects the values of its organization’s namesake, Johnny Mac, who died from 9/11 related colon cancer in 2004. As a fireman’s wife, it is not difficult to see how this organization hits close to home for me and my family.[
The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
DSWT is one of the most successful orphan-elephant rescue and rehabilitation programs in the world. DSWT pioneered the creation of a specialized milk formula for baby elephants back in the early days of elephant conservation. DSWT has continued to pioneer research by developing programs that understand a baby elephant’s needs. This includes a keeper dedicated to each elephant baby (even sleeping with them each night), providing each elephant its own baby blanket, and fostering each elephants individual mental needs. As a result of the research and dedication of the Trust, it became the first to create a two step reintegration of these elephants back into the preserves. DSWT not only works tirelessly to help elephants, but continues to pioneer the best way to do so. As an added bonus, they also serve to aid and conserve wildlife and natural habitats throughout the East Africa region, not only benefitting elephants but many other animals also. Elephants are more than a hobby for me, they are a lifelong passion. So, this organization that is moving conservation work into the future speaks to me.[
